Developed to protect US military installations, the patented Gort spotlighting technology - being launched at Securex by VoiceAlert - operates as a fully automated robotic 'smart' security sentinel.

The moment an intruder moves into a protected zone, high-intensity quartz halogen lights illuminate and swivel to face the threat. The light (and associated camera) then follows the intruder wherever that person moves within the protected area. Gort's movement routine is so convincing that trespassers will be fooled into believing that s/he has been observed and recorded by a human operator.
