Spectrum Communications is the exclusive distributor for Paradox in southern Africa and received an award for being the second biggest international distributor for 2005.
Sold and distributed in over 100 countries, Paradox security products cover every type of application from residential to large corporate applications. Proven to be a reliable and well-designed product, the Paradox range is a force to be reckoned with in Africa.
Stephane Rasicot, the executive manager of Paradox, will attend the exhibition and be discussing the recently released products and technologies.
Paradox has announced the release of the EVO96, the new Digiplex 96-zone control panel that will be replacing the DigiplexNE. As a result of its large memory space and in-field firmware upgrade ability, the EVO platform is the base for all future evolution of the Digiplex system. One of the major benefits of this new panel is that its firmware is fully in-field upgradeable without replacing the microprocessor and can be upgraded in about 120 seconds.
Another new release that will be on display at Securex is the new Listen-In Module with substations, a multipurpose communication module that accompanies the EVO96. Through the Listen-In and the two-way features of the module, the monitoring station can verify the accuracy of a reported alarm, communicate with specific partitions directly, contact authorities with additional information and ensure continuous communication with users.
