Emergency Reaction Services will be displaying the latest range of Ranger security detectors including the Mediscan metal detector, specifically designed for use in hospitals to prevent and control loss of expensive stainless steel medical and surgical instruments.
The company will also be exhibiting the state-of-the-art Ranger multizone walkthrough detectors that indicate the exact location of hidden weapons or metal contraband. Ranger can recognise that normal quantities of coins or keys are not weapons. This makes them the ideal solution for large sports events, conferences or exhibitions where speed and convenience to enter are as important as securing the event.
Visitors will also be able to see the unique Ranger Identiscan program that lets one set the detector to alarm for specific products only, allowing other metal products to pass through undetected - a suitable solution for manufacturing plants.
Emergency Reaction Services will run a daily competition to win the Ranger handheld detector every day of the show. Visitors need only drop in a business card to enter the competition. The Ranger handheld detectors are designed for both weapon screening and asset protection. It is highly rated by the US Federal Aviation Administration. It can detect a Medium pistol at 12" (300 mm), a small pistol at 9" (230 mm), a razor blade at 3" (75 mm), a Hat Pin at 1" (25 mm) and a 486 processor at 4" (100 mm).
