Alarmcom has launched a new passive-infrared motion detector - IR120 - with AMASIC signal analysis technology.
It is suitable for residential and small commercial applications protecting an area of up to 100 m2 or 20 m curtain and has a discrete ergonomic that fits to every environment.
The installer-friendly, two-part housing offers time-saving plug-in mounting and plenty of space for wiring. For safe detection throughout the surveillance area, Alarmcom's IR120 uses patented 52-zone triplex black mirrors with a chessboard-like volumetric, a dense vertical curtain or a pet-alley pattern.
The special black mirror coating provides high-quality white light immunity and a specially designed seal forms an effective barrier to keep insects out of the optical chamber. Due to true digital temperature compensation and comprehensive draught protection the IR120 is insensitive to climatic influences. A permanent self-test watches over the operation of the electronic circuit and the pyrosensor.
