Audiotel International, a manufacturer of electronic countermeasures equipment has launched Sig-Net, a handheld bug detector, using the latest advances in large scale integrated electronics and RF processing.
Sig-Net has been designed to address the massive increase in the use and abuse of mobile phones as covert listening devices. In addition to its obvious use in protecting the spoken word considerable interest has been shown from public services such as hospitals, prisons and schools as well as the aviation industry where the use of mobile phones is undesirable or hazardous.
Optimised for detecting local concealed transmitters Sig-Net detects all types of analogue and digital transmitters. Furthermore, Sig-Net can be used to protect sensitive meetings in realtime.
