The remarkable growth of the mobile communications industry has created a fantastic opportunity for monitoring companies. With GSM modems and data costs falling rapidly, the technology behind mobile networks can now be cost-effectively deployed as an alternate to traditional radio communications technologies.

AlarmLink has been developed to take advantage of these advances. By partnering with Sierra Wireless, AlarmLink has developed a solution that is robust, fast, reliable, and transparent to the monitoring companies who own the data we have the responsibility of transmitting. AlarmLink is a substitute or redundant option for radios and phone lines. It provides guaranteed message delivery via APN on MTN or Vodacom networks.

AlarmLink allows configurable, event triggered, SMS and e-mail notifications which can be sent per event per each user. Various packages are available, some offering full offsite event log with an easy to use format, date and time stamped by the platform, and user management access to add, delete and re-assign modules, as well as facilitate remote unit deactivation for delinquent accounts.

AlarmLink can be set up to report to one or many base stations. It can also be accessed via a customer Web portal with live device monitoring and over-the-air firmware management.
