The Aritech ShatterPro III glass-break detector has increased false alarm immunity by more than 50%, making it suitable for use in more applications, for which the earlier models were not. To help improve performance, the SP3 has optimised performance for two types of applications, small hard rooms and large soft rooms. A jumper switch selects between the two types. The small room application includes storefront display windows and other acoustically live rooms fewer than 100 sq feet. The large room application is targeted for commercial office areas, residential rooms, warehouses, etc.
As in all the ShatterPro products, the sensor has no sensitivity adjustment. This means that the sensor must use well-defined algorithms to reject false alarm and detect glass-breaks. All sounds must be processed.
Features include:
* Adjustable to room size.
* Consistent detection, even of soft, quiet glass-breaks.
* Detects through blinds and light drapes.
* End-user can test sensor operation with a clap of the hands.
* Alarm memory.
