The latest detector from the Crow Group, the EDS 4000 is designed especially for outdoor installations and harsh environmental conditions. This is ensured by a heavy-duty polycarbonate housing and sealed electronics, which renders it impervious to wind, rain or dust.

Its uniqueness stems from its combination of two dual passive infrared (PIR) detection modules and advanced digital signal processing to give outstanding catch performance and freedom from false alarms.

The EDS-4000 easily fits into any outdoor installation, and its detection modules are adjustable to cover separate areas for a total of 180° coverage. It also features intelligent anti-masking technology, which results in an error report should the lenses be covered with, for instance, spray paint.
