The EDS-3000 Trio is a double PIR and microwave (MW) outdoor detector with an internal element that has 90° coverage area. The detector element (which includes both PIR and MW detectors) can be adjusted horizontally inside the plastic cover, so that its 90° coverage may vary between 0° and 180°.

The EDS-3000 can be installed either on a wall or pole using a metal mounting bracket supplied with the detector. It also has an internal slider with which the detection distance of PIR element #1 may be changed. Sliding the element's plastic cover up or down, it changes the focus of the PIR element relative to the optical lens.

The detection sensitivity is determined by a rotating selector switch located inside the detector. Changing the sensitivity affects pet immunity and immunity to environmental noises.
