Contronics USA launches Connect-1 - exception monitoring for guard patrols

Contronics USA has launched Connect-1, a low-cost, intelligent device that can be attached to any commercial alarm system to monitor the status of scheduled tours being performed by security officers.

Any exceptions such as incomplete tours or unscheduled events can trigger the Connect-1 and almost instantly alert your alarm monitoring station to despatch a supervisor or response vehicle. The Connect-1 can also be used as a guard check-in device to help monitor the safety of your guard personnel.

Connect-1 is part of the PROGuard line of information technology (IT) products designed for professional security services companies.
