Bosch Security Systems presents the new Conettix transmission technology for security and fire alarm systems. Conettix modules transmit alarm signals from an intrusion or fire panel to the monitoring centre or to an individual person, fulfilling the most varied transmission requirements simply and economically. The system also offers a reliable and cost-effective basis for remote programming or remote servicing. The optional verification of alarm signals received operates via voice or video. Conettix contains modules for all major transmission pathways: analog or digital phone networks, IP data networks or GSM mobile phone networks. The modules are compatible with Bosch panels, as well as with those of other manufacturers.
Conettix IP, the version designed for transmission in IP-based networks, is especially cost-effective. This very successful module, which has hitherto been available in some parts of the world under the name 'NetCom System', is now available worldwide. The DX4020 module is ideal for the transmission of data from Bosch panels; the C900TTL-E module is designed for panels made by a range of manufacturers. Bosch's D6600 Receiver is a high-performance receiver suitable for use with all these modules.
If the customer is already using an IP network, Conettix IP scarcely generates any additional transmission costs. The system achieves a high level of security of transmission very cost-effectively by means of constant connection monitoring with optional encryption and authentication. Other advantages are the high transmission speed and the low bandwidth requirement.
The Conettix GSM system contains the module for radio transmission in a mobile phone network.
