Napco Security Group has introduced NetLink Internet/intranet alarm reporting. NetLink enables Napco Gemini Hybrid Panels to report alarms and status over the Internet or a local intranet, using a programmable NetLink Panel Module and Windows-based NetLink Software on a standard PC. With NetLink Software the PC is virtually transformed into a remote monitoring receiver, saving equipment costs, while securely receiving encrypted alarm data sent from the NetLink Panel Module through a TCP/IP network.
It provides primary and/or backup reporting of alarms over a TCIP/IP-based network and/or telephone lines. No dedicated central station receiver required as it uses Napco's NetLink CS Software Application. Alarms, status and supervisory data are received via Internet or intranet. Dynamic IP addressing and encryption provides data security and integrity.
The software can also be used to route events to an automation system. Furthermore, NAPCO Panels' PCD-Quickloader Software can support panel programme downloading through the intranet or a corporate WAN, in addition to the uploading of logs and other data.
