Available through Honeywell, the Guard motion detector is armed with four-dimensional sight, combining three major detection technologies: PIR (two sensors), active infrared and microwave.
The unit's front is masking-protected (anti-masking) by an active infrared scan, which detects even transparent objects such as clear glass, plastic bags or transparent spray of any kind. It is also equipped with a unique 360° anti-masking feature - by microwave.
Furthermore, by using a special inertial switch, the detector will alert even when someone has shifted, moved or turned it - this new concept is called anti-case-shifting.
In addition, Guard may be configured to ignore pets by means of a simple switch.
