The Smokecloak available from Transaction Control Technologies rapidly fills the protected area with a dense white vapour once an intrusion is detected, reducing visibility to approximately 30 cm within 30 seconds. The vapour generated by the machine is harmless to both humans and sensitive equipment, but it makes it impossible for the intruder to see anything, thereby prevent any theft from taking place.
The Smokecloak machine is fitted with a unique cloak sensor which continually monitors the density of the smoke, automatically triggering the machine again should the density of the vapour fall below a certain level. This ensures that a premises will be protected until help arrives, and makes it useless for the intruder to hang around to wait until the smoke disappears.
Once the vapour evaporates it leaves no residue, so there is no clean-up afterwards.
