HRH Prince Michael of Kent visited the stand of perimeter security specialists, Advanced Perimeter Systems (APS) at the four-day (8-11 May) IFSEC International Security Exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham.
Prince Michael is Patron of the British Security Industry Association and toured the show's three halls at the NEC to see the latest developments in security equipment and services.
APS used the exhibition to introduce a number of new initiatives to its range of security systems including advances in both the Electro-Fence and Flexiguard perimeter protection systems, along with Proxiguard, a proximity sensor system designed to prevent the theft of high value objects such as works of art.
Commenting on the exhibition, Bill Campbell, Managing Director of APS said "IFSEC is an excellent shop window for introducing new developments, not only to the UK market but also to potential overseas customers. We have some excellent leads to follow up, including interest from Hungary, Zimbabwe, the US, the Netherlands and Romania".
