Philips and Space TV announce distributorship

Philips Communication, Security & Imaging (CSI) has announced a distributorship deal with national electronics distributor Space Television. The deal will ensure that Philips CSI CCTV and public address products are more readily available to small businesses and will increase Philips' distribution of security and related products.

"This is a very exciting move for us," says Allan Antoncich, business unit manager, Philips CSI. "We believe that the distribution agreement with Space TV will allow smaller installers access to a range of high quality products at direct purchase prices."

Errol Voigt, managing director of Space TV adds: "We will be offering clients a range of Philips security solutions including the popular REO observation and security system and the new Plena public address system. "The applications are enormous - from supermarkets to small grocers; hotels to restaurants; pharmacies to banks to jewellery shops; sports halls to school corridors." Space TV currently has branches in Johannesburg, Randburg, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town and Durban.
