Warner Bros recently selected Philips CSI as the star security system in the remake of the 1960 Lewis Milestone Rat Pack crime classic, Ocean's 11.
According to the production leadman of the film, Scott Bobbitt, Philips products were chosen because of the ultramodern design of the flat screens and the wide range of products available in the CCTV line. The equipment is featured in the futuristic hi-tech surveillance room of a major Las Vegas casino where the sophisticated heist is about to take place. The security room - 'The eye in the sky' - is equipped with dozens of Philips LCD flat screen monitors and Philips cameras overseeing dozens of gaming tables, cage areas, tunnels, the elevator and the main vault where the action takes place.
Embedded ceiling cameras, video recorders, PIR sensors and a video wall complete with Flat TVs are featured in scenes that weave the plot of this fictional adventure film.
