Fargo, the world's leading manufacturer of card printers, introduces a new product line that represents a quantum leap forward in card printing technology.
The Fargo HDP710 (single-sided) and HDP720 (dual-sided) card printers utilise cutting-edge HDP (high definition printing) technology. Unlike direct-to-card printing, this revolutionary process prints images onto a special HDP film which is then fused into the surface of a card through heat and pressure.
The HDP710 andHDP720 offer quality image reproduction on many types of cards, including smartcards and even cards with difficult surfaces such as proximity cards. These printers can also print over-the-edge on oversize cards and cards with a thickness of nearly twice that of a standard card.
Each printer comes standard with 8 MB of printer memory, a Windows printer driver, and independent printing and encoding stations. These features work together to deliver fast batch printing capabilities, ideal for efficient, high-volume card production. For even faster print speeds, printers can be networked for maximum card production with multiple printing stations.
