Cathexis appoints Mass as a distributor

In a joint statement issued recently, John Loftus, MD of Mass and Gus Brecher, MD of Cathexis Africa, announced that Mass has been approved as a distributor of Cathexis products. Cathexis’s range of products includes DVRs, NVRs, hybrids, transmission systems and control room management software.

Loftus noted that since starting Mass, its growth had been meteoric. Mass specialises in sourcing and providing security solutions as opposed to the outdated distributor policy of ‘emptying their warehouses’, often to the detriment of clients. He noted that the Cathexis range would enhance and complement their current range of equipment. Cathexis was a 100% South African product with internationally recognised and accepted status as one of the world’s best engineered CCTV systems.

Gus Brecher said Mass’s impressive growth record and dynamic leadership impressed the Cathexis team. Each of the directors of Mass has nearly 20 years’ experience in the South African electronic security market with exceptional track records.
