Norbain SA appoints new national sales manager

May 2012 News & Events

“Success is determined by the excellence of the team and not by the brilliance of the individual,” Norbain SA’s recently appointed national sales manager, Jacques Bester, describes his commitment to the development of his sales force. “The right person in the right position determines the immediate well-being as well as the long-term prosperity of any organisation.”

No stranger to the industry, Bester has an impressive 20-year track record in the electronic security sector. He has learnt the business from the ground up, spending the bulk of his career in various positions that have broadened and strengthened his technical expertise. With an employment history that includes a technical directorship at an electronic security service provider in the early nineties, an operational stint at a Panasonic agency and five years at Ultrak (prior to the Honeywell acquisition); Jacques laid a sturdy foundation for all future endeavours.

This groundwork allows Bester to offer Norbain SA customers a comprehensive solution spawned by experience, technological wisdom and a firm grasp of the entire process, from system conception to installation to after-sales support.

“Complete customer satisfaction can only be achieved through an absolute understanding of the various products available in the marketplace, what they are capable of, what their strengths and short comings are and what factors influence their efficacy,” Bester explains. “Without this knowledge we are unable to provide our customers with the optimum solution.”
