The Security Industry Alliance (SIA) will host a conference aimed at providing delegates with credible insight in the current as well as future challenges facing the private security industry. The conference will be held on 15 November 2011 at The Wanderers Club, 21 North Street, Illovo. The cost per delegate is R1500.
The presentations on offer will include the following topics:
* Wage negotiations.
* Industry database.
* Provident fund.
* SASSETA.
* PSIRA.
* Mid-management training.
* Management studies.
* Training providers.
* ESIA.
The SIA banquet will be held the night before the conference (14 November) at the same location. Once again, SIA will continue with the Prevention of Crime Awards. This year the awards will fall into three categories: Guarding, AIT and Response, to cater to the wider industry.
The cost per delegate for the banquet is R700, or R6500 per table.
