Deon Lazarus has been appointed call centre manager at Chubb Fire and Security Durban. The past 11 years has seen Deon climb the ladder from call centre agent to call centre manager in a number of well known blue chip organisations where the key objective was to handle all customer related queries via e-mail. Deon’s current roles and responsibilities at Chubb include managing the sales team; ensuring quality leads and sales are generated from the team as well as to drive the overall sales performance within the core team on a weekly and monthly basis.
Etienne Fourie has been appointed technical manager at Chubb Fire and Security Durban. He returns to the Chubb management team after pursuing personal interests for the past four years.
Fourie brings a wealth of experience with him to the Chubb team. He holds an Honours Degree in Police Management, was with the Metro Police for 14 years and with the South African Police Service (SAPS) for three years. He was stationed in Pretoria with the Reaction Unit and was tasked with duties such as riot and crowd control; house penetrations; safety and security of VIPs; apprehension of highly dangerous criminals; performance of rescue operations and attended to hostage situations among many other highly dangerous operations. During this time Etienne received nine commendations for bravery and work performance.
