Elvey Security Technologies opened its doors in 1946, and Bosch Security Systems was established in 1886. The companies have now entered into a synergistic relationship that will see Elvey branches throughout South Africa stock Bosch’s range of security products.
Accordingly, installers, system integrators and specifiers will have access to Bosch products, which will in turn enable them to improve their output levels.
Bosch products available through Elvey include a wide range of domes, flexidomes, autodomes, IR (infrared) cameras, and digital hybrid and IP (internet protocol) network recorders.
According to Ingo Mutinelli, national sales manager for Elvey Security Technologies, Bosch has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with Pentagon, one of Elvey’s divisions. This, he notes, is evidenced by multiple joint ventures between the two over the years including the securing of the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane for the FIFA 2010 Soccer World Cup. Pentagon supplied 150 Bosch IP cameras and 91 Bosch IP high-speed dome cameras in a system where the core focus is on public safety.
“That same quality and reliability is now available at Elvey branches,” he says, adding that the addition of Bosch’s products to Elvey’s CCTV range illustrates its commitment to providing customers with tailor-made security solutions using state-of-the-art equipment.
