Attendance of Sensor’s annual Surveillance Expo exceeded all expectations, to the extent that it may be repeated in the course of 2011. Clients from as far afield as the Free State, Mpumalanga and both the Northwest and Northern Province all came to see the latest product ranges and live demonstrations. The aim was to provide a fun, yet informative learning environment to help suppliers refuel and plan for the year ahead. According to Henry Brown (left in image), Sensor’s MD in Gauteng, the technology that attracted the most attention were the fibre-optics display from BFR Digital, the new Supreme Megapixel range from Vivotek, the new Bosch 600 Series 16-channel DVR and CNB’s mini-domes.
