iPulse has announced two new additions to its team: Francois Breedt and Jarryd Lake.
Francois Breedt joined the team as business development director. With over 20 years’ experience in the security sector, Francois brings broad-based skills to the iPulse team.
Starting off as a surveillance expert in the SAPS in 1988, the millennium saw him transfer these skills to the private security industry when he joined Intervid as a systems design engineer and projects manager. Since then, he has served as business development manager for Africa, the Middle East and Asia at Gallagher Security, and later fulfilled the same role locally at the PBS Technologies Group.
Francois has both technical and sales skills and his broad exposure to various elements of the security industry has come at the perfect time for iPulse, which has grown its portfolio of services and offerings significantly in the past 12 months.
Jarryd Lake is an electrical engineer, who joins the company’s growing R&D team as head of electrical design. Jarryd is possessed of a lateral, out-of-the-box way of thinking, so he fits in perfectly with the iPulse R&D team, and has already managed to generate significant street credibility amongst the rest of the engineering team by blowing up his test jig on the first day.
Jarryd’s skills are further complemented by a colourful background as a radio presenter and an IT support technician. He busies himself with anything from the design of upgrades for existing electronics to fixing existing problems at circuit-board level, earning the nickname as resident 'Tamer of the Magic Smoke'.
