As if proof of globalisation is actually necessary, there will be a large Asian contingent at IFSEC SA Securex 2010. What follows is a brief selection of products that will be on display from Asian companies at the exhibition.

One of ACARD Technology’s products is a 16 channel standalone DVR offering H.264 compression, 120 fps at D1, real-time D1 recording and playback. It sports an eSATA interface for external storage expansion (up to 32 TB for each port).

Trans Pacific will be demonstrating its wall-mounted, mirror-concealed day and night IR camera with LED spotlights. This is a vandal-proof mirror with an IR camera embedded.

ASRock will be showing off its intelligent hybrid embedded DVRs, the Aura 3/5/7 series. The product’s video decorder chips are embedded onto its motherboard and it offers analogue and IP camera channels that can be easily changed by users. These products also offer lightning protection and can be integrated with access control, ATM, POS systems etc.

Hanbang is introducing its DVR8000 series. These devices support VGA, BNC and SPOT output, with H.264 video compression. It supports dual-stream encoding and a digital zoom function.

Domenor is a PTZ designer and will be demonstrating its D55, D57 and D87 series cameras.

Lan Castle Technology will also be touting its DVR systems, supporting half D1 real-time recording and playback, flexible coding stream systems, independent VGA output and CVBS output, and high-definition preview and digital zoom. It has also built-in support for 3G mobile phone surveillance (Blackberry\Symbian\iPhone\Android) and e-mail SSL.
