GSM/GPRS wireless alarm communicators use the GPRS data channel of the GSM network to ensure low-cost, high-speed and reliable alarm communications. Internet and GSM/GPRS dual path alarm communicators can be customised to use the Internet as the primary path and GSM/GPRS as the secondary path (or vice versa) with the GSM/GPRS communicator taking over if the primary path fails. Universal alarm communicators are compatible with most manufacturers’ products.
