Technoswitch, a South African-owned company, has been supplying quality equipment for fire detection systems into sub-Saharan Africa for over 30 years. The VESDA appointment was made official last month with live and static product demonstrations at the Technoswitch premises. Technoswitch will not only provide the industry with the VESDA product, but also the technical and design backup service.
The company designs and manufactures control equipment in South Africa and complements its range with an imported range of high quality, intelligent panels and other peripheral detection and signalling products. The peripheral products include flame, smoke and heat detectors, warning devices, manual call points, motorised beam detectors, extinguishants and many more. All of the imported products have extensive approval certification. Certificates for these products are available on request.
