Nkunzi Technisec held a supplier day in Edenvale last month, inviting all its long-time suppliers to join it for the event, along with Hi-Tech Security Solutions.
Dirk Erasmus, Technisec director says the main purpose of the event was to “celebrate our 15 years in the industry. We also realised throughout the years that we, as an integrator, can not continue to do good business and supply good service, if we do not have strong partnerships and relationships with our suppliers. Therefore we organised the event to acknowledge that our partners are our suppliers and rewarded them for service excellence.
“At our annual conference this year, we adopted the theme ‘together we are better’. Our purpose was therefore to get our main suppliers together to show to them who we really are and that we are serious about our partnership with them.”
Erasmus believes this type of event is a first of its kind in the industry. “It was good to have all our suppliers under one roof, although they might be competitors to a certain extent.”
Nkunzi Technisec has always upheld the highest ethical values and a meeting with all its suppliers highlighted the fact that it plays open cards.
Suppliers who attended were impressed with the event, some noting they were unaware that Technisec was able to handle such a broad range of systems integration.
Technisec’s CEO, Kevin Monk added that the company has also recently opened its first Durban office, and has put out feelers into the Cape Town region as well.
