New SASA committee chosen

October 2009 News & Events

The Security Association of South Africa (SASA) held its AGM recently and selected a new committee to manage the association through the coming year.

Lionel Strong from GriffithsReid has been elected as chairman, with Thorburn’s Leba Mashao as vice-chairman. Other members are as follows:

* Hansie Prinsloo from ARM.

* John Da Silva from Gunnebo.

* Gerhardt Oosthuizen from Servamus.

* Alan Ramiah from GFPS.

* Andrea Bardenhorst from Security Focus.

* Peter Jephson from John Elliot Security.

* Jamie Ross from Falcon Electronics.
