China’s biggest public security conference will be held on 22 and 23 October in Shanghai, China. The event will consist of 200+ top professionals from the global security fraternity, including government, urban planners, construction companies, integrated solution providers, manufacturers, ICT service suppliers, real estate/property management companies and so forth.
China is set to become the world’s second largest security market after the United States. After Beijing held the Olympic Games in 2008 and with Shanghai and Guangzhou to respectively be the hosts of the World Expo and the Asian Games in 2010, these big events will generate a growing demand in China’s security market.
Urban Security Shanghai Forum 2009 will focus on 'Urban Safety and Mega-Events', 'Safety of Transportation and Infrastructure' and 'Emergency Response and Crisis Management' among other urgent security issues in China.
USSF 2009 intends to be a unique platform to highlight emerging opportunities for foreign cooperation, specifically in terms of China’s current strong demand for security. Two parallel conferences will take place to further educate delegates.
