Miro's coastal branches on the move

March 2009 News & Events

Miro distribution’s coastal offices in Cape Town and Durban will be relocating to bigger and better premises.

Miro Cape Town was the birth of Miro distribution in June 2002 and has been supplying products for over five years to the region. Miro opened its Durban branch in 2006 to serve KwaZulu-Natal and surrounding region.

Miro consolidated its Gauteng operations in a 1500 square metre facility in Midrand in early 2008, which became a knowledge centre to its staff and clients. With the increased warehouse capacity and support from Gauteng, the coastal branches showed impressive growth, and outgrew their premises at the end of 2008.

According to Bertus van Jaarsveld, CEO of Miro distribution, this move brings the coastal branches in line with the new look and feel created in Miro Gauteng and will standardise the service levels across all branches. The new premises also add much needed capacity for additional staff and warehousing space.

Miro distribution’s Cape Town and Durban branches’ last day of business at their current addresses will be on 26 February 2009. They will be closed for business on 27 February 2009 to move into the new offices, and Miro Cape Town and Durban will open its doors on 2 March 2009.
