All-new ProxNet Pro system

Elvey Security Technologies and GSC introduce the new ProxNet Pro access control system.

The system supports up to 10 000 controllers, 25 000 readers and 20 000 card holders making it ideal for business that have different sites and multiple offices. It links to multiple controllers and offers flexible permissions, complete building management, remote management of centralised control and platform independent access via the Web.

Not needing any special software the ProxNet Pro system utilises the existing Ethernet allowing all programming, viewing of data and relaying of reports to be available on the network. Every user is required to log in with a username and password, and each user's access to the data is fully configurable.

A new feature called triggers enables the system to output actions that are performed based on the event.

Not only does it transmit a unique ID in the same way any other RFID tag does, but it also supports signature-based interrogation, this means that there is a second level of security hidden within the card.
