Axis warranties extended

Axis Communications recently announced that it has increased the warranty period on its network video products to three years from one year. The new three-year hardware warranty applies to purchases made from 1 January, 2007 and onwards. It is applicable to all Axis network video products except for the AXIS 206 and AXIS 207(W/MW) Network Cameras.

The warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for a period of three years from the date of purchase. Axis or its Return Material Authorisation (RMA) partner will replace a defective product under warranty at no cost to the customer.

"A three year warranty gives end-users, systems integrators and resellers the security of trouble-free ownership and better control of total costs," says Roy Alves, country manager for Axis Communications South Africa.
