RDC introduced its new transmitter range to guests at a recent breakfast hosted by Elvey Security Technologies.
The new range of transmitters, known as the TX650C and TX690C add another excellent feature: reduced power drain on the battery, thanks to an advanced power amplifier that draws 25% less current on transmit and only 10 mA on standby (less than a passive). This ensures reliable communication even during an extended power failure, making it a potential lifesaver.
The transmitter is almost completely manufactured by surface-mount technology (SMT) using the latest computer-controlled machinery to manufacture circuit boards, virtually eliminating man-made error. The synthesised TX range retains all the features that have made RDC transmitters a winner with security companies in the past.
