Elvey International has gained accreditation for the latest International Organization for Standardization ISO 9001:2000 quality management standards. Elvey International received its accreditation following an extensive assessment from the South African Bureau of Standards on 31 October 2003. This accreditation demonstrates the company's commitment to delivering high quality solutions and service for its customers, supported by comprehensive customer-focused business processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
"This certification displays our commitment as a forward thinking quality organisation and testifies to our considerable efforts to listen, and respond, to customer demands. In this way, we continue to raise the quality of our overall business performance and meet the evolving requirements of our customers," commented Andrew Stead, managing director.
ISO 9001:2000 is the universal standard for quality assurance systems accepted around the world. It applies to industries involved in the design and development, manufacturing, installation and servicing of products or services, and the standards apply uniformly to companies in any industry and of any size.
