Web-based biometric system

Identix has introduced ABIS, a web-based enterprise-level facial recognition matching platform. ABIS eases the delivery of large-scale identification solutions for government, law enforcement and commercial users by providing numerous capabilities required by large agencies with millions of records to manage.

At the core of ABIS, or automated biometric identification system, is a unique server software architecture that runs on modular commercial off-the-shelf hardware components, making it easy for integrators and end-users alike to expand the capabilities of the system as the scope of the identification program grows.

ABIS is accessed through a standard Web browser or a thin client interface and provides various functionalities such as enroll, search, delete, etc, in an easy to use application programming interface (API).
