A $1 million project to improve security at one of the Middle East's largest banks has recently been completed using Fiber Options equipment.
The Central Bank of Lebanon project consisted of a major CCTV and access control security system using fibre-optic links.
The installation of the equipment, which included 94 cameras, 80 readers and 150 alarm points to control access, and 120 links travelling over 120 fibres, was carried out by Doummar Frères s.a.r.l. of Lebanon.
Using Fiber Options products, video, audio and data can now be transmitted throughout the different buildings of the bank via fibre-optic links. This equipment also allows security information to be centralised into one room.
