Leaderware have agreed with Amanda Wasserman to provide surveillance and monitoring assessment exercise (SAMAE) assessments to clients on request in Durban.
SAMAE has become the de facto standard for the selection of CCTV operators in South Africa and is now used widely in the UK and other countries. Assessing an applicant's observation skills, vigilance, and concentration spans, SAMAE has been demonstrated in research to identify CCTV operators with higher detection rates.
Dr Craig Donald of Leaderware comments that using SAMAE to select CCTV operators has a major benefit on bottom line performance. "It has been enthusiastically received in just about every industry where operator performance is critical and we are finding it increasingly being used where there is also concern for people's safety such as town centres." He goes on to state that having someone in Durban to do assessments allows companies to get small numbers of personnel assessed conveniently and at relatively short notice.
