When Ernst-Jan Hilteman, Hilton Sandton's food and beverage manager, entered a competition on the ASSA ABLOY stand at this years Hostex, little did he expect to win anything.
However, in a random draw, the lucky manager walked away with a leading safe from ASSA ABLOY's new hospitality division - ASSA ABLOY Hospitality.
ASSA ABLOY Hospitality has brought together its four existing brands serving the hospitality industry - Elsafe, Timelox, VingCard and Inhova - under one umbrella to cater for the security needs of major hotel owners, operators and their guests.
Hilteman was delighted with his prize and will use the new Elsafe in the brand new conference rooms currently being renovated. "The timing could not have been better. We are currently upgrading our facilities to fall in line with developing international trends and standards set by the Hilton Group. The R3 million upgrade will see updated technical specs in all conference areas and state-of-the-art business centre. The safe is top notch and will certainly work well in our first class environment."
