ESDA (The Electronic Security Distributor's Association) is taking a forward look at the state of the South African Security market, though its endorsement of Hi-Tech Security Solutions' 'State of the SA security market' survey.
To follow up on the theme of the 'State of the market', the ESDA committee has invited popular corporate motivational speaker Mark Manley to present the results of some of his thought-provoking research at the upcoming ESDA general meeting to be held in Johannesburg in the latter half of July. He will present research facts and figures in an astoundingly informative and challenging way through his presentation entitled: South Africa through the wilderness!
The presentation has been described as a useful tool to help gear management for navigating the rocky road that lies before us in both the present and future South Africa. The security industry has seen much change in the recent past, and members will almost certainly gain from some strategic insight. The response to Manley's presentations to date can be summarised as follows: 'Essential for business groups considering their actions in the future.'
Manley has successfully presented previous research in this scope to over 200 leadership groups around the country. His experience in the political, educational and entertainment arenas have equipped Manley to present a lively and entertaining picture of the 'real' South Africa.
Manley's presentation as well as the ESDA general meeting will be held at the Technikon RSA, Auckland Park Campus, at 12h00 for 12h30, on Wednesday 18 July. In addition, Neil Gillespie will report back to members at the same meeting on the state of the ESDA training programme.
The meeting will take place during a three course silver service luncheon, provided by the Restaurant at the Technikon's Food Services Faculty. The cost of the lunch will be R25 per head, excluding drinks. Space is limited to 40 ESDA members and guests. Those wishing to attend should confirm their seats before 12 July to allow for catering.
