Heimann Systems receives FAA order

Heimann Systems recently received an add-on delivery order from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for 134 TIP-ready X-ray systems (TRX) for the screening of carry-on baggage.

This order from the FAA is a continuation of a previously secured contract for X-ray systems equipped with Threat Image Projection. "This delivery order further demonstrates the level of trust of which the FAA has placed in our product and in our people," said Mark Laustra, Managing Director for Aviation Business Development, Heimann Systems.

"We have received many high marks from our government, US air carriers, and screening personnel with regard to the reliability of our technology and post-installation technical support during this and previous TRX deployments," he concluded.
