In addition to working with its own Calibur by Kalatel multiplexers, Kalatel's DSR-2000e single-channel digital video recorder now additionally operates with Pelco Genex, Sanyo and several other brand name multiplexers.
"Regardless of what brand multiplexer an end-user has or what a dealer has been selling, organisations want to record digitally," explains Darren Nicholson, Kalatel National Marketing Manager.
With the 30 GB hard drive standard or optional 80 or 160 GB drives, users can record for hours, days, or even months without overwriting. Ethernet ready, the DSR-2000e can also be assigned an IP address so that users within a LAN or WAN can review and download selected live or recorded images on remote PCs, using software provided with the DSR-2000e.
