The CCTV Surveillance Skills course provided to South African companies by Leaderware is now being presented in the UK as part of a strategic alliance with Tavcom Training.
Tavcom is one of the foremost training organisations in the UK on CCTV, access control and alarms. The two-day surveillance course includes a focus on security risk factors, observation skills, psychology and body language, and profiling activities. Delegates take away a focus on how to conduct observation, increased ability to recognise and read incident risk behaviour, awareness of their surveillance area, and an understanding of what to look for when conducting CCTV surveillance. Delegates from UK operations as diverse as town centre CCTV schemes, educational institutions and hospitals have already attended the surveillance training and future course schedules include members of the police, prisons and retail.
The CCTV surveillance skills course complements Tavcom's in-depth training on operational and technical areas and Dr Craig Donald is personally involved in all training. The benefits of internationally recognised and certified training are some of the advantages to South African delegates while Tavcom courses are also planned for South Africa.
