Tokina, a leading Japanese manufacturer of high quality CCTV lenses, has developed a unique new 1/3" 3,3-8 mm CCTV lens.
The new varifocal line of lenses is 40% smaller than normal lenses without giving up the minimum aperture of F1.4. According to Glenn Wolk, President of Tokina Industrial, "Keeping the F1.4 aperture along with the ultra-compact design is definitely a new benchmark and advantage when you realise that the aperture is the ratio of the front glass element to the rear glass".
The new TVR3314 lens boasts superior lens coatings to enhance the video imagery, metal barrel fabrication in the lens design and all glass colour corrected elements.
The ultra-compact version of the TVR3314 will be available in manual (TVR3314), video auto iris (TVR3314AI), DC auto iris (TVR3314DC) and in fixed iris (TVR3314NI).
