Opgal’s Compact Eye is an ultra compact, low-power thermal imaging engine based on a 384 x 288, uncooled ASi 8-14μ microbolometer detector with a 25 micron pitch. The Compact Eye is tuned to long wave infrared with less than 0,080°C sensitivity. Thermal camera integrators will find the Compact Eye the perfect solution when space, weight and power are the critical factors.
Key features
* Modular design, provided as an engine, with/without NUC shutter, or as an open frame camera (engine attached to optics).
* Proprietary algorithms fully tested and proven effective in poor visibility conditions.
* Anti-blooming mechanism.
* Electronic Zoom x2, x4.
* High-resolution graphics overlay.
* Digital video output via USB2 or LVDS (optional).
* Focus and FOV control via communication (optional).
With its night vision capabilities the Compact Eye OEM engine is the ultimate security solution for surveillance and protection of national borders, airport perimeters and other sensitive sites. In the industrial and safety markets, the Compact Eye infrared thermal engine can be integrated into predictive maintenance applications and fire detection systems.
