Sesco's GKB CCTV products highlighted at Securex

March/April 2000 Surveillance

Founded in 1986, GKB is a professional CCTV manufacturing company, providing high-quality CCD cameras and accessories at competitive prices. Distributed and supported by Sesco Security in South Africa, GKB products include CCD cameras, dummy cameras, dome cameras, waterproof cameras, CCD modules, switchers, quad processors, scanners, CCD housings, monitors and brackets. One of the more popular cameras, the 0,02 lux monochrome CCD Camera (12 V d.c.), is a universal camera featuring the latest 1/3" CCD technology (charge-coupled device) and automatic electronic shutter (which regulates the amount of light allowed into the camera).

When using a nonauto iris lens, the electronic iris allows for a clearer image in low-light situations. For more difficult lighting situations, the built-in auto iris jack enables the use of a CS-mount auto iris lens. The latest version features a DC drive which means that, as well as enabling the use of CS-mount auto iris and video drive lenses, the camera allows for the use of less expensive (but equally reliable) DC drive lenses. The camera features BLC (back light compensation) and Sony I/C which ensures superior picture quality. It is supplied with both a transformer and bracket. Current consumption is about 200 mA at 12 V d.c. Resolution is 450 TV lines. Minimum illumination is 0,02 lux (F1.2).
