The DVR2200 is a digital video recorder for use in all types of vehicles, such as buses, trains, taxis, police cars and planes. Each system is housed in a compact rugged enclosure and is capable of withstanding the shock and vibration that mobile systems are exposed to. Video recording can be activated by panic button, alarm sensor or can be left free running. Data is stored on a removable flash drive which can be removed when needed. This removable drive is placed into a special searching computer which allows the user to playback, search, print or back-up re-recorded video.
Each DVR2200 has four video inputs and utilises MJPEG-4 compression technology with a recording speed of 5 frames/s. It also features a video output as well as 12 V d.c. operation and an optional GPS overlay.
