The new MO-S616G/P from Eagle Technology is truly the world's smallest colour camera. Measuring 16 x 16 mm and weighing 10 g, it is ideal for covert applications. Picture quality is good with horizontal resolution of 380 TV lines. Two versions are available, one with a 5,0 mm pinhole lens and one with a 3,6 mm/F2.0 lens.
Output is standard PAL video, with DSP circuitry automatically controlling white balance and electronic shutter. Because it uses the latest CMOS technology, power consumption is typically 50 mA at 12 V d.c., making it ideal for battery-powered applications. A new version with built-in 2,4 GHz transmitter will be available soon.
