Altech Netstar introduces the Boomerang, an easy-to-use Internet-based asset location system that features asset location through the Internet, using GPS positioning information transmitted via GPRS; historical trip information, based on the GPS positions recorded by the unit; a user-friendly website with a detailed street map; the MTN cellular network to communicate data using SMS and GPRS communication; and the Altech Netstar tracking and recovery service (optional).
Boomerang allows the user to locate an asset through the Internet and users can also subscribe to Altech Netstar's stolen asset tracking and recovery service.
